フォーティナイナーズのオリジナルのフェイスタオルです。


防染という技法で染められたオリジナルデザインのタオル。

防染とは、京都の伝統工芸品のひとつである「京友禅」の技術を用いた染色方法です。タオルに染料の浸透を防ぐ防染糊で柄を描き、それを染料に浸すことで糊がのった部分以外を染め抜きます。

丁寧に染められた防染タオルは吸水性が良く、色落ちがしにくく、耐久性にも優れています。実用性も兼ね備えたタオルです。




ちょっとしたプレゼントや、お土産にもオススメです。


This is an original face towel from 49ers.


The towel features an original design dyed using a technique called resist dyeing (bōsen).


Resist dyeing is a traditional dyeing method that uses techniques from Kyo-Yuzen, a traditional craft from Kyoto. A resist paste is applied to create the
design on the towel, which is then dipped in dye—coloring only the areas not covered by the paste.


Carefully dyed, these towels are highly absorbent, resistant to fading, and exceptionally durable—combining both practicality and beauty.
