ダブルワークスのスウェットの生地は、1950年代からある吊り編み機によって編まれた、吊り裏毛（LOOP WHEEL）を使用しています。
昔ながらの製法である吊り裏毛は、現代的な生産効率のよさはありませんが、ゆっくりと空気を含んでいるような編み方で、ふっくらと着心地が柔らかく、着込んでも型崩れしにくいスウェットができあがります。
吊り編み裏毛のスウェットは高速編み機で作ったものと違い、ふっくらと柔らかいタッチが特徴。ゆっくり糸に負担をかけず、空気を含んでいるような編みゆえの、柔らかさを楽しめます。
糸に負担がかからないため、着込んでも型崩れしにくく、丈夫で長持ちする特性もあります。
またラフィの糸を使っているため、ヴィンテージと同じようなムラと味わいある風合いも大きな見所です。
そして吊り編みのスウェットは両脇に縫い代のない、丸胴というボディ。
体を包み込むようなリラックス感があり、柔らかな生地感と相まって最高の着心地のよさを味わえます。
縫い目がごろつかない、昔ながらのフラットシーマによる縫製も快適な着心地を生むポイントです。

Introducing the “LOOP WHEEL TURTLENECK SWEAT SHIRTS” from DUBBLEWORKS.
This sweatshirt is made from loopwheel fleece fabric, woven using traditional loopwheel knitting machines dating back to the 1950s. While not the most efficient in modern manufacturing, this slow and gentle method creates a fabric that is soft, fluffy, and rich in texture, offering exceptional comfort and durability.
Unlike mass-produced sweatshirts made with high-speed machines, loopwheel knits are crafted slowly, allowing the yarns to retain air and avoid stress—resulting in a soft, resilient, and long-lasting garment.
The sweatshirt also uses “Raffy” yarn, which blends recycled cotton to create the irregular texture and nuanced appearance reminiscent of true vintage fabric.
The body is tubular-knit (no side seams), creating a smooth, seamless feel that gently wraps around the body for a relaxed and comfortable fit.
Finished with vintage-style flat-seam stitching, this piece offers an old-school charm with a modern level of wearability.
