ミドルウォレット同様で三つ折り型タイプのRUDDERは非常にコンパクトで手のひらに収まるミニマムサイズになっております。


必要最低限の収納量でちょっとしたお出掛けからカード払い、電子マネーを日頃からお使いの方におススメです。


また、コンパクトが故に鞄を持たずともポケットにスッポリと収まる事も嬉しい要素の一つです。
三つ折り型のフラップ部分は二つボタン構造となっており、しっかりとホールドしてくれるのでさまざまなシーンにおいて安心してご使用できます。

開口時は財布全体が広く見渡せる良さがあり、お使いのカードが階段使用に収納されているためすぐに必要な物を選んでいただけます。


コインケースもフラップ使用、両マチ構造で大きく開くため、スムーズな取り出しが可能です。

ブライドルレザーとは、英国で1000年以上もの歴史があり馬具用の革として厚みと堅牢度を追求して開発された革のことを指します。

ブライドルとは、馬の顔に装着する手綱や頭絡といった馬具の総称です。

そこに端を発し、雨天が多い英国において、より強度を高めるためにロウ引き加工を施す革へと研究開発されました。


ブライドルレザー特有の白い粉の正体はブルーム（ロウ）と呼ばれ、革に耐久性を加えるために革にロウを擦り込ませてあります。
ロウを革の内部まで擦りこみ、浸透させる事により堅牢度が増し、繊維が引き締まり革の経年劣化時もゆるやかになります。

ブルームは使っているうちに自然となくなってきますが、使っているうちに手の体温でゆっくりとブルームが落ちていき、艶やかで上品なブライドルレザー本来の革を楽しむことが出来ます。


英国の歴史ある伝統製法を守りつつ14世紀頃から貴族や騎手のために作られたブライドルレザーは、気品溢れる特別な時代背景を感じさせられる極めて格調高い皮革です。


【革のメンテナンスについて】
BRIDLE LEATHERのお手入れは革製品用ブラシ(馬毛、山羊毛、豚毛)のある程度硬さのあるブラシで、製品全体にブラッシングを行ってください。

ブラッシングを行うことで肉眼での変わりはあまり分かりませんが、細かな繊維からホコリやチリが除去されます。

普段のメンテナンスはこれを行って頂くだけで十分です。


さらに毎日ご使用頂くなかで革が乾燥してくる、少しさっぱりしているなどがありましたら、クリーム(無色)をキレイな布に少量に取り、製品全体に良く馴染ませるようにうすく放物線を描くように動かし塗布してください。

そして、柔らかいキレイな布で力やさしく乾拭きを行ってください。

最後に柔らかなブラシでブラッシングを行い、仕上げてください。


※クリーム、オイルなどを過度に塗布する事はお止めください。
オイル染みや、カビ、革本来の風合いや性質を損ねる原因となります。


※BRIDLE LEATHER特有のブルームは製品をお使いいただくうえで自然と落ちていきますが、
衣類や他の商品への移染が気になられる場合は使用前にブルームを落とすことをお勧めします。

製品全体をブラッシングし、ある程度ブルームを落とした後に柔らかいキレイな布でやさしく乾拭きを行ってください。


ブルームは自然と落ちていくので人工的に落としても革の性質が悪くなる、革自体が弱くなるなどのご心配はいりませんのでご安心ください。

What is Bridle Leather?

Bridle leather is a type of leather with over 1,000 years of history in the UK, originally developed for equestrian gear with an emphasis on thickness and durability.

The word “bridle” refers to the harness and reins fitted on a horse’s head.
Bridle leather was originally created for use in these tools, and in rainy Britain, it was refined with wax-finishing techniques to enhance water resistance and strength.

The characteristic white powder on bridle leather is called bloom, which is wax that has been rubbed into the leather to enhance durability.
This wax is worked deep into the leather fibers, making them denser and more resistant to wear over time. It also slows down the aging process of the leather.

As the leather is used, body heat naturally melts away the bloom, gradually revealing the deep, rich sheen and elegance that define bridle leather.

Bridle leather, crafted using traditional British methods since the 14th century for nobles and horse riders, is a leather that evokes historical prestige and refined elegance.

Leather Care Instructions

To maintain your bridle leather item, use a leather brush (horsehair, goat hair, or pig bristle) with moderate firmness to gently brush the surface.

While the effect may not be visually dramatic, brushing removes dust and fine particles from the leather’s fibers.
For daily maintenance, this light brushing alone is sufficient.

If the leather starts to feel dry with continued use, apply a small amount of colorless cream to a clean cloth and spread it evenly across the surface in gentle, circular motions.
Then wipe the leather gently with a soft, clean cloth to buff the surface.
Finish by brushing with a soft brush to complete the care routine.

Note: Do not over-apply cream or oil, as it may cause staining, mold, or damage the natural texture and properties of the leather.

About Bloom Transfer:
The white bloom specific to bridle leather will naturally wear off with use.
However, if you are concerned about it transferring to clothing or other items, it’s recommended to remove it before use.
Gently brush the entire product to reduce the bloom, and then softly wipe it with a clean cloth.
This process does not damage the leather or weaken its quality, so you can perform it without worry.
