▼WESTRIDE / ウエストライド ウエストライドより"PT.L.TEE.25-01"のご紹介です。 春夏用L/S TEEとしてリリースする、S/S TEEと同じ14番単糸を使用した長袖TEEは発売以来、大人気。14番TEE同様の生地番手を使用すことで春夏シーズンでのより多くの着用を可能にすると共に、秋冬リリースとなる16番双糸(8番相当)の肉厚ロンTEEとの差別化を図る。 生地はORIGINAL HEAVY WEIGHT No.14 COTTON 100%。丸胴の吊り編み機で編み立てた後にサイドを割りダブルシームで縫製するなど非常に手間のかかる工程を得て制作。そのため丸胴に見られるヨジレなどの型崩れもなく、肌触りにも優れた生地となります。肌着としての側面を持つITEMのため品質にも拘り抜いた作り。ネックはトリプルステッチで肌触りが良く、すべての縫製の中でもっとも襟が伸びにくいとされています。 WR専門チューナー「MR WR」のSHOP TEEをイメージした新作は、今季メイングラフィックの一つとなる、WR用ストローカーKITを擬人化したキャラクターがユニークに描かれた一枚。 デザインアートはLITTLE CHOP DESIGN「KNUCKLE」氏。岐阜在住のLOWBROW ARTIST。特にエアブラシアート、スカルプチャーアートに関しては国内随一のスキルとセンスを有し絶大な人気を誇るトップアーティスト。AC/DC、SUICIDAL TENDENCIES等のオフィシャルフィギアの原型を手掛けるなど、世界的に活躍している。毎年、単独のART SHOW「MONSTER FAN CLUB」を開催し、独特の世界観でファンを魅了し続けている。様々なカスタムショーやイベントでアートワークを行い、全国に数多くのカスタマーを抱える実力者。 ▼WESTRIDE / PT.L.TEE.25-01 Introducing the PT.L.TEE.25-01 from WESTRIDE. This long-sleeve tee for spring and summer uses the same No.14 single yarn as the short-sleeve tee, and has been highly popular since its release. Using the same fabric weight as the No.14 tee allows for more wearability during the warmer seasons, while differentiating it from the thicker long-sleeve tee made from No.16 double yarn (equivalent to No.8) released for autumn and winter. The fabric is ORIGINAL HEAVY WEIGHT No.14, 100% cotton. It is knitted on a tubular loopwheel machine and then carefully sewn with double seams after splitting the sides, a labor-intensive process that prevents twisting and deformation typical in tubular knits, resulting in a fabric with excellent hand feel. Since it functions as an undergarment as well, meticulous attention is given to quality. The neckline features triple stitching, known for its softness and durability, making it the least prone to stretching among all seams. The new design is inspired by the WR specialist tuner “MR WR”’s shop tee and features one of this season’s main graphics — a unique anthropomorphic character based on the WR stroker kit. Design art by LITTLE CHOP DESIGN’s “KNUCKLE,” a lowbrow artist from Gifu. Renowned for top-tier skills and sense especially in airbrush and sculpture art, he enjoys immense popularity. He has sculpted official figures for bands like AC/DC and SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, and is active worldwide. His annual solo art show “MONSTER FAN CLUB” continues to captivate fans with its unique world.
