ジェラードより 311W Painter Pantsのご紹介です。


このデニムは40年代のLEEのカバーオールを解体し、糸の分析を行い、ヴィンテージの色落ちなどの特徴を研究しました。その結果、同様のタテ落ち感を持つデニムを制作しました。この生地を使用して、40年代のハウスマークのペインターパンツを再現しました。
LEEのワークパンツの特徴であるポケットの底の中心を少し余らせ、縫製をまっすぐに行うことで、ヴィンテージらしい雰囲気を演出しました。
経糸には3種類の番手を使ったムラ糸を織り上げ、当時のようなランダムなタテ落ちを楽しむことができます。緯糸は薄いグレーの硫化染を使用しており、通常のライトオンスのデニムよりも深い色合いで、色落ち時の違いを楽しむことができます。さらに、右バックポケット裏にはユニオンチケットを縫い付けており、ディテールにもこだわりました。
フロントボタンの足もドーム状の足を使用し、よりヴィンテージ感を演出しています。生地、付属品、縫製に至るまで、最高品質のペインターパンツをお試しいただければ幸いです

Introducing the 311W Painter Pants from JELADO.

This denim was meticulously developed by disassembling a 1940s LEE coverall, analyzing the yarn, and studying the fading characteristics of vintage garments. The result is an original denim fabric that replicates the same kind of vertical fading (“tate-ochi”) seen in those classic pieces.

Using this fabric, JELADO faithfully reproduces the look and feel of 1940s “House Mark” painter pants. One distinctive detail borrowed from vintage LEE work pants is the slightly loose fabric at the bottom center of the pockets, which creates a straight sewing line and contributes to an authentic vintage vibe.

The warp yarn features a blend of three different yarn counts to create irregular slub yarns, providing the random fading patterns typical of vintage denim. For the weft, a pale gray sulfur-dyed yarn is used—offering deeper tones than standard lightweight denim and delivering unique fading characteristics over time.

Further vintage-inspired details include a Union Ticket sewn behind the right back pocket and dome-shaped button shanks on the front, replicating period-specific hardware. From fabric to accessories and sewing techniques, every element has been carefully selected to produce the highest-quality painter pants possible.
