JELADO から、Steelbeam Coatがリリースされました。


2025年のコレクションテーマは「THE CREAM OF THE CACHE」。これは造語ですが、「最上のコレクション」を意味します。今年は、JELADOの秘蔵コレクションから一年をかけて、最高のヴィンテージアイテムを再現します。

今回のスぺシャルアイテムとして、弊社が長年保有する1920年代以前のSWEETORRの変形ポケットカバーオールを踏襲し、LASTRESORT青タグから派生したINDIGO WABASHストライプ生地を使用した特別なカバーオールを制作しました。


このカバーオールには、経糸に3種類の太さの糸を使用し、経糸・緯糸ともにロープ染色で染め上げた左綾織りの生地を採用しています。

さらに、弊社が所有するヴィンテージからサンプリングしたWABASHストライプを抜染プリントで再現し、ヴィンテージ感溢れる生地に仕上げました。

ストライプのピッチやドットの大きさなど、ヴィンテージのディテールを忠実に再現し、他にはないオリジナリティのある素材となっています。


裏面には、顔料プリントでオリジナル生地の証明を施し、深みのある質感を演出しました。

ボタンには鉄製のオリジナルチェンジボタンを使用し、袖には当時の雰囲気に合わせたドーナツ型の打ち込みボタンを採用しています。

以前の製作時よりも全体的に分量を多く取り、少しゆとりのあるサイズフィットを目指しました。

その結果、当時の労働着の雰囲気と生地との相性が良く、よりヴィンテージ感のある仕上がりとなっています。

このカバーオールは、SWEETORR特有のウォッチポケットや大きめのパッチポケットなど、見どころ‵満載のデザインで、ヴィンテージファンにはたまらないアイテムです。

Introducing the Steelbeam Coat from JELADO.

The theme for JELADO’s 2025 collection is “THE CREAM OF THE CACHE”—a coined phrase that signifies “the finest of the collection.” This year, JELADO is devoting the entire season to reviving the most treasured vintage pieces from its extensive archive.

As part of this special release, JELADO has reproduced a rare coverall from the pre-1920s by SWEET-ORR, featuring a unique pocket configuration. This updated version is crafted from an indigo Wabash stripe fabric derived from the signature LASTRESORT “blue tag” series.

The fabric itself is a left-hand twill woven using rope-dyed yarns, with three different thread counts used in the warp. The Wabash stripe pattern is recreated using a discharge printing method, directly sampled from vintage pieces in our collection. The stripe pitch, dot size, and overall layout faithfully mirror those found on true vintage garments, resulting in a fabric rich in character and authenticity.

On the reverse side of the fabric, we’ve applied a pigment print to signify its original production, giving the material even more depth and texture.

The buttons are custom-made from iron, with change buttons used on the front and vintage-inspired donut-shaped punch buttons on the sleeves—an homage to workwear of the time.

Compared to previous versions, this iteration has been slightly upsized overall, offering a roomier fit. This adjustment enhances the synergy between the vintage-inspired fabric and the relaxed silhouette, amplifying its old-world charm.

Design highlights include the distinctive SWEET-ORR-style watch pocket and oversized patch pockets, making this piece a must-have for serious vintage enthusiasts.
