Gary Royal, originally from New Zealand and now active as a tattoo artist in the Bay Area, San Francisco, was invited for three consecutive years as a builder at the prestigious BORN FREE event in the U.S. Alongside his tattoo work, he also demonstrates exceptional talent as a chopper builder under the name BEWARE CHOPPERS. Last summer, he finally received the “BEST INVITED BUILDER” award—a distinguished honor voted on by invited builders themselves and regarded as one of the most prestigious awards. His bike, named “HOT HEAD,” a 1945 KNUCKLE, stood out with remarkable presence even in the large event hall. Being a tattoo artist, his product line goes far beyond typical motorcycle shop tees, showing truly impressive design sensibility.
