WESTRIDE　「PT.TEE.25-09」のご紹介です。

「YIELD=譲り合い」の精神をキャッチーでPOPなグラフィックにまとめたブレイク必至の新作。KNUCKLE氏による人気キャラクターTHUNDER CATと共に「この道はネコが通るから気をつけて‼」というメッセージが描かれる。

ここ日本ではあまり見聞することのない「YIELD」の文字ですが、米国の交通標識では登下校のスクールゾーンを始め、度々目にする、交通ルールの基本マナーです。

デザインアートはLITTLE CHOP DESIGN「KNUCKLE」氏。岐阜在住のLOWBROW ARTIST。特にエアブラシアート、スカルプチャーアートに関しては国内随一のスキルとセンスを有し絶大な人気を誇るトップアーティスト。AC/DC、SUICIDAL TENDENCIES等のオフィシャルフィギアの原型を手掛けるなど、世界的に活躍している。毎年、単独のART SHOW「MONSTER FAN CLUB」を開催し、独特の世界観でファンを魅了し続けている。様々なカスタムショーやイベントでアートワークを行い、全国に数多くのカスタマーを抱える実力者。

縫製：WESTRIDEのオリジナルTEEは、丸胴の吊り機で編み立てる→サイドを割ってダブルシームで縫製→内側サイドの縫い代をカット→ネックはトリプルバインダー。

と非常に手間のかかる仕上げとなっている。この工程により、丸胴に見られるヨジレなどの型崩れもなく、肌触りも良好となる。肌着としての側面も持つTEEだけに、プリント柄だけでなく、品質そのものに拘って生産しています。

プリント手法：プリント手法に関しては、同一デザインであっても、ベースカラーやプリントカラー、プリントデザインを一つ一つ勘案し、各々ベストなものをチョイスし手刷りで行っている。（水性染込み、半ラバー、抜染、ひび割れなど）。

プリントデザイン：全グラフィックに各々のメッセージやストーリーが設定されている。デザインを身に着けると同時に、それらの背景に目を向けてみるのも楽しみの一つになっている。

デザインはフロントプリントがメインになる物とバックプリントがメインになる物で、ウエストライドらしいアートワークでまとめ上げています。

フロントデザインがメインとなるものはベストやシャツ＆ジャケット等とのレイヤード、バックデザインがメインとなるものにはトップアクセサリーとのセットアップ。

「ファッションを存分に楽しむ」為のトータル・コーディネイトを考慮したラインナップとなっています。また、プリント・インクなどの材料や手法も常に新しいものを取り入れながら、より表情豊かに仕上げていきます。

Introducing WESTRIDE “PT.TEE.25-09”

A brand-new release destined to be a breakout hit, featuring a catchy and pop graphic embodying the spirit of “YIELD = mutual yielding.” Alongside the popular character THUNDER CAT by artist KNUCKLE, the design carries the message: “Watch out! Cats cross this road!”

The word “YIELD” is not commonly seen in Japan, but in the United States, it is a fundamental traffic rule frequently encountered in school zones and other areas.

Design Art:

Created by KNUCKLE of LITTLE CHOP DESIGN, a LOWBROW ARTIST based in Gifu. Renowned domestically for exceptional skill and sense in airbrush and sculpture art, KNUCKLE enjoys immense popularity as a top artist. He has worked on official figures for bands such as AC/DC and SUICIDAL TENDENCIES and is active globally.
He hosts a solo annual ART SHOW called “MONSTER FAN CLUB,” continually captivating fans with his unique worldview. He also participates in various custom shows and events nationwide and has built a large customer base.

Sewing:

WESTRIDE’s original T-shirts are crafted with great care: knitted on a tubular knitting machine → sides are split and sewn with double seams → inner side seam allowances are trimmed → neckline finished with triple binder stitching.
This labor-intensive process prevents twisting or deformation common in tubular knits, resulting in excellent fit and comfort. These T-shirts serve as both outerwear and underwear, with a focus not only on print designs but also on high production quality.

Printing Techniques:
Even with the same design, each base color, print color, and pattern is carefully considered to select the best method and is hand-printed. Techniques include water-based dye penetration, semi-rubber, discharge printing, and crackle effects.

Print Designs:
Every graphic carries its own message and story. Wearing the design is also an invitation to appreciate its background and meaning.
Some designs focus on front prints, perfect for layering under vests, shirts, or jackets. Others emphasize back prints, ideal for pairing with top accessories.
The lineup is created to offer total coordination that allows you to fully enjoy fashion. Additionally, materials and printing methods are continuously updated to create richer textures and expressions.
