▼JELADO / ジェラード ジェラードより "CM47 Baker Short Pants"のご紹介です。 2024年から展開している、1947年に米軍が採用したヘリンボーンツイルを使用したベイカーパンツ。 その特徴を受け継ぎ、ショートパンツとしてリデザインしました。 主なディテールはそのままにしつつ、腿のワタリ幅などは41ショーツのシルエットを参考に調整しています。 「パン職人（ベーカー）」が作業時に着用していたことに由来するとされ、別名「ファティーグ（雑役）パンツ」とも呼ばれています。 戦地だけでなく、内勤の作業時にも広く使用されたこのパンツは、M-43パンツの後継モデルであるM-47パンツとして採用されました。 M-47では、大型カーゴポケットを廃止し、尿素ボタンを採用。 シンプルで機能的なデザインが特徴です。今回のショートパンツでは、ヘリンボーンツイル生地を使用。ヴィンテージのヘリンボーンに見られる撚りの変化による畝の立体感を再現した、しっかりとした肉感が魅力です。2色展開で、弊社所有のヴィンテージを基にスレン染めを施しました。 この染色により、穿き込むほどに色落ちし、ヴィンテージのような深みのある経年変化をお楽しみいただけます。やや太めのシルエットに仕上げているため、カジュアルからミリタリーテイストまで幅広いスタイルに対応します。丈夫で経年変化を楽しめる、雰囲気のあるショートパンツです。 ▼ JELADO / CM47 Baker Short Pants Introducing the “CM47 Baker Short Pants” from JELADO. This model, launched in 2024, is a redesign of the baker pants originally adopted by the U.S. military in 1947, made from herringbone twill fabric. The shorts retain the key features of the original while adjusting elements such as the thigh width with reference to the silhouette of the 41 shorts. The name “Baker Pants” comes from their use by bakers during work, and they are also known as “Fatigue Pants” due to their rugged, functional design. These pants were widely used not only in combat zones but also for indoor work tasks. They were adopted as the M-47 pants, a successor to the M-43 model. Compared to the M-43, the M-47 removed the large cargo pockets and adopted urea buttons. The design is simple and functional. This shorts version uses herringbone twill fabric, recreating the distinct texture and raised ribs characteristic of vintage herringbone with a robust, substantial feel. Available in two colors, the fabric is slub-dyed based on our company’s vintage pieces. This dyeing process allows the color to fade naturally over time, creating a rich, vintage-like patina with wear. The silhouette is slightly wider, making it versatile for casual as well as military-inspired styles.
